About

Lightning Labs offers 25ID a mission driven approach to Innovation and Modernization. We provide Soldiers with a physical makerspace and digital platforms for creative design and collaboration. Lightning Labs also provides consolidated and ongoing support via access to small grants, patent agents, workshops, and connections to 25ID senior leaders and academic partners. We believe that great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, regardless of rank or position.

Organization

• The Lightning Labs leadership team consists of our Innovation Director, the Deputy Director, and our Senior Enlisted NCOIC.


• Software Dev Team builds custom full-stack web applications.
• Materials and Manufacturing Team utilizes 3D printing technologies and electrical engineering to rapidly produce and demonstrate prototypes.
